This sweet girl was brought into our shelter today with 7 puppies and 3 chickens, the owner noticed the chain was cutting the dogs head off so she then put it around her waist so she couldn’t run away. The 7 puppies where locked in a chicken coop with the chickens and are covered with ringworm and having missing legs and paws because the chickens were eating them piece by piece! We can hold them until tomorrow, but due to their conditions we CANNOT hold them any longer! PLEASE HELP THEM! 337-394-1220

I need your help!
If anyone in the Waller/Magnolia, Texas area has seen these three dogs, please call the number on the flyer or email me at terrormarie[at]gmail.com!
They’ve been missing since yesterday afternoon and are inside dogs that are not used to being out in this Texas heat. My friend’s family is heartbroken and desperate to have them back!
lost doggies: automatic reblog. hope these puppies get found!
Meet Edie (A16263542) and Andie (A16261491), two 8-10 week old Domestic Shorthair kittens! Edie and Andie both came to the shelter, found as strays all by themselves. Though they didn’t know each other at the time, Edie and Andie were soon to become best friends and pseudo-sisters! Both kittens came to the shelter with very bad kitty colds, with swollen eyes and runny noses from spending days, maybe weeks on the streets without proper shelter or nutrition. Luckily, Edie and Andie went into foster care (together!) the very same day they got to the shelter. After a few weeks and a couple rounds of antibiotics, both kittens recovered from their colds and are back to their goofy, loving kitten-selves. As a result of their colds, Andie has scarring and mild vision-loss in her left eye and Edie has mild scarring in both eyes, but can see just fine! Though they may look a bit different than other kittens their age, they are still your typical playful, affectionate and HEALTHY kittens!
Someone come adopt these cuties!
UPDATE ON LENNOX - “If the offer is turned down we will fight for our right to say goodbye. We cannot bear the thought that Lennox will die without being reminded of the hearts and hands that love him.”
Lennox, who is currently on death row in Northern Ireland because he is a “banned breed” (see previous story) is out of legal options. There have been several offers to take Lennox and move him out of the country. However, his fate ultimately rests in the hands of the Belfast City Council. Here is an excerpt from the official statement of Lennox’s owners:
Our concern and priority has always been the welfare of our beloved boy. We have fought to have Len returned to our family from the moment he was seized but we have been advised that the legal fight is at an end. We are obviously distraught but have to consider the impact that any future lengthy legal battle would have on Len if we chose to go against the advice that we have been given. We cannot subject him to any more as there are no grounds for a further appeal and we do not wish to prolong his suffering any longer by engaging in a battle that we simply cannot win…
This is all we can share with you at the moment and we are finding it hard to come to terms with the fact that there is nothing more that we can do from a legal point of view and that Lennox may well be killed. We have one last hope that Belfast City Council will allow Lennox to be rehomed in the USA. The offer is there but we have no say in whether this offer will be accepted.
There is still a slim chance that Lennox will be allowed to live in another country. However, the odds appear to be against him. (Photo courtesy of the North Country Gazette).
Leaving the dog park today, a guy approached me with this puppy. She was found in his driveway this morning in Palmdale California. She appears to be about 6 weeks old, a female brindle pit bull. If you can help please call 818.631.7996.
